Our Why

Higher Ground International is an advocate for our community. Our identities matter. Our ancestors were stolen and enslaved here, forced to build this country. They shed their blood and died here. We must honor their sacrifice by continuing their legacy and centering cultural identity as we build a more equitable future – one that promotes dignity and consideration for everyone and for generations to come.
